The piling contractor is down to the last 50 piles at the Poplar Riverside Phase 1 development, with 1800 installed to date. The site presented a number of complex geotechnical challenges with the contaminated made ground, deep alluvium and an uncommonly thin layer of London Clay, along with a large number of retained buried obstructions. It’s great to see the progress on site and we’re looking forward to seeing the frame go up next!
