The Rolling Stock Yard team have completed the construction of the new nine storey concrete frame. The new building will provide 57,000ft2 of office space, a café, cycle storage, refuse stores, shower facilities and a single basement level.
Engineers, Tom and Yuliya, attended the topping out ceremony on July 26th to celebrate the milestone with representatives from Deepdale Holding Investments Ltd, architects Squire & Partners, project managers Rougemont, cost consultant Currie and Brown and services consultant Atelier Ten. Members of the team signed one of the rooftop walls after a walk around the building and a few congratulatory speeches.
Rakesh Chavda, project manager for the contractor, VolkerFitzpatrick, said: “It is wonderful to be celebrating this impressive development reaching its highest point. This is a great project to be involved with and I would like to thank the whole team for all their hard work in getting us to this point.”
Mark Goldbart, Partner from the client, Newmark said: “The team here at Rolling Stock Yard are doing fantastic work and I’m very pleased with the high quality of delivery to date. It is great to watch the project plans becoming a reality and I very much look forward to seeing the development progress over the coming months.”
